Pokémon card value checker

Type a card name and number to see what it’s worth: the market price, the price range for each finish, and an estimate for every condition. No sign-up.

Add the card number to narrow results. It’s printed at the bottom of the card, like 025/165.

How to use the value checker

  1. Search by card name, and add the collector number if you have it.
  2. Tap the card that matches yours. Check the set name and number to be sure it is the same printing.
  3. Tap a finish in the table (normal, holo, reverse holo, 1st Edition) to see its price and condition estimates.
  4. Cross-check against TCGplayer and Cardmarket sold listings before you buy or sell.

What affects a Pokémon card’s value?

Three things matter most: which printing you have, which finish it is, andits condition. A holo and a reverse holo of the same card can differ many times over, which we explain in holo vs reverse holo vs 1st Edition. Wear matters too. Use the condition guideto rate your card honestly.

Frequently asked questions

How does the Pokémon card value checker work?

Type a card name, optionally followed by its collector number (for example “Charizard 4” or “Pikachu 25/165”). Pick the exact card from the results and the checker shows its TCGplayer market price, the low and high range for each finish, the Cardmarket trend in euros, and an estimate for each condition.

Where do the prices come from?

Prices come from public TCGplayer (US dollars) and Cardmarket (euros) data through the free TCGdex database. TCGplayer’s market price is based on recent completed sales, which is a better guide to value than a seller’s asking price.

How often are the prices updated?

About once a day. Prices can move faster than that around new set releases or tournament results, so check recent sold listings before a large purchase or sale.

Why is the price different from another website?

Sites measure different things: sales versus listings, US versus European buyers, different conditions, and different finishes. Make sure you are comparing the same printing, such as holo versus reverse holo, and the same condition.

Are the condition prices exact?

No. They are estimates calculated from the Near Mint price, using typical discounts for each condition. Real prices depend on the specific card and the buyer. Our condition guide explains how to judge your own card.

Can I check a whole collection at once?

Yes. Use the collection value calculator to add cards and get a running total, or scan cards with the ScanDragon app and it values them automatically.
